New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants

Methodology

The 2009 Remuneration Survey in association with Randstad was completed by 10,012 members of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, in the following breakdown:

Chartered Accountant 6,711
Associate Chartered Accountant 946
Accounting Technician 353
Provisional Chartered Accountant 1,367
Provisional Associate Chartered Accountant 429
Provisional Accounting Technician 206
Total 10,012

All survey responses were received and analysed by an independent survey company, who retain all raw data. No individual data was supplied to any other party. Where response counts were too statistically low to be appropriately represented, the count has been omitted to ensure data ethicacy and member privacy.

Randstad analysed the data, summarised it for graphical purposes and then commented on the overall findings
