I am pleased to introduce the results of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants’ 2009 Remuneration Survey, in association with Randstad.
This annual, independent survey provides the most detailed and up-to-date analysis of accounting salary trends and remuneration across the many areas in which our members work.
Along with the traditional salary questions, this year we also surveyed members on their optimism about the economy and what motivates them in their current role.
We hope that these results will continue to generate discussion and deliberation in the business arena and provide greater insight into broader aspects of our profession.
We could not have gathered this valuable information without your help. Thanks to the more than 10,000 members who took part in the survey, and to Institute Catalyst Partner Peugeot for providing the cars for the incentive prize draw.
